Parade Planned for Little League Team

Scheduled for Sunday, September 2 at 1pm

With Petaluma National going strong at the Little League World Series, the town is getting ready to celebrate with a parade scheduled for next Sunday, September 2.

The parade will kick off at 1pm at Walnut Park, wind down Kentucky Street then turn right on East Washington and return via Petaluma Boulevard.

The Nationals have won three of their four games at the World Series and play again Thursday at 5pm. The tournament ends August 26.

If you want to catch Thursday's game, head down to Boulevard Cinemas in Theater Square for a pre-game party where you can pick up a Petaluma National hat, T-shirt or one-of-a kind rally towel.

There will also be a raffle with all proceeds going to the Uganda Little League team who Petaluma players have befriended during their stay in Williamsport, Pa. If you are a business and would like to donate a prize for the raffle, contact Petaluma National Little League President Anthony Lackey at 415-806-1324 or anthonydlackey@gmail.com
