A Once in a Lifetime Encounter With Wild Gorillas in Uganda

A visitor meets silverback gorillas in an unexpected and up close and personal encounter

I planned a next blog post about Reconciliation Ecology, an emerging field of study and practice for undergraduates and graduates. It will wait a little while.

Today, I want to show a video of wild mountain gorillas in Uganda who came upon an ecotourist at a Uganda preserve. Be prepared to see what happened. Season's Greetings and hope readers enjoy this holiday season video.

(Thanks to Lucy Kenyon of North Coast Resource Conservation and Development Council who shared this clip and an introduction: "a very-lucky-to-be-in-the-right-place-at-the-right-time visitor - who knew just how to behave in the presence of the silverback."
