Clint Eastwood Donates $5K to Petaluma Nonprofit

Petaluma Bounty runs a community garden that offers jobs to both teens and seniors, gleans excess produce from local farms and provides affordable fresh produce for low-income residents.

Now this is cool.

Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina Ruiz Eastwood have donated $5,000 to Petaluma Bounty, a community organization that runs a farm on Shasta Avenue along with programs to supply needy families with nutritious food and trains young people about permaculture, the Press Democrat is reporting.

Eastwood, who lives in Carmel, learned about the organization through his wife who is related by marriage to Petaluma resident Judy Collins. Collins started the Petaluma Farmers' Market and is involved with Petaluma Bounty.
