Fire Department Seeking Donations for Toy/Food Drive

Items to be given to needy families through local group Christmas Cheer

The Petaluma Fire Department is rolling up its sleeves to help collect toys and food for needy families in the community. Starting this Tuesday, Nov. 29, all fire houses in town will begin collecting new toys and non-perishable food items. These will be donated to Christmas Cheer, a local organization that provides assistance to families who can't afford to buy their children gifts.

The drop-off locations will be at all Petaluma firehouses, including at:

198 D Street

Donations can also be dropped off directly at the Christmas Cheer office at 1372 N. McDowell Blvd. Suite D & H at the corner of Redwood Way. If you're a person or family who would like assistance from Christmas Cheer, please call them directly at 763-8368.
