Come Sing Along: Petaluma Women's Chorus Practicing Every Monday

The group will hold a holiday concert Dec. 8 in Rohnert Park.

The Petaluma Women’s Chorus will have its second practice of the season Monday night, and is looking for singers interested in joining its ranks.

The group rehearses every Monday until Dec. 2, and is working on holiday music ahead of a Dec. 8 concert in Rohnert Park.

Practices are held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Studio Woodwardia, 269 Woodward Ave. in Penngrove.

The Petaluma Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Melinda Moreaux-Valente, will begin rehearsals for it’s fall session on Monday, September 23 from 7-9:30. We rehearse every Monday evening though December 2, 2013.

This session’s program will focus on music for the Christmas season and include works for women’s chorus and chamber orchestra by Bach and Vivaldi. The session will culminate with a concert at the beautiful sanctuary of St. Elizabeth Seton in Rohnert Park on December 8th.
