Petaluma Film Festival Starts Friday: Watch the Trailers Here

Movies from numerous countries will be shown in Petaluma for the fifth-annual Petaluma International Film Festival.

Petaluma film buffs can travel the world from a single theater this weekend.

The fifth-annual Petaluma International Film Festival runs Friday through Sunday, and features films from all over the world. It will be held at Boulevard Cinemas, 200 C St., and the first movie starts at noon on Friday.

Movies being shown include French picture The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc, Balkan Spirit–a documentary featuring Angelina Jolie, Sake Bomb–a Japanese and American film shot in Petaluma, and more. All films are in English or have English subtitles.

Most showings are at least a double feature, and a 6 p.m. Saturday showing will feature question-and-answer sessions with Sonoma filmmakers. Tickets are $11 per showing, or $150 for the entire festival. The full schedule is available here.
