International House of Pancakes

Flag as Inappropriate

The first International House of Pancakes was open in Los Angeles in 1958. Because of the fear that California earthquakes might topple the A-framed structure, the original IHOP was relocated to Idaho, a move that took over a year. Their motto is "Come Hungry, Leave Happy," so their portions are ample. On the menu you'll find all-you-can-eat pancakes, bottomless pots of coffee and hearty dinner favorites. Their famous breakfast combinations include Country Fried Steak & Eggs and Thick-Cut-Bone-In Ham & Eggs, as well as omelettes, crepes, sandwiches and burgers, a kid's menu, and 55+ specialty entrees. IHOP also carries gift cards.
