A Bug's Life: Insects, Art, and Conservation

On Friday, March 14 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm the Petaluma Wildlife Museum
hosts the second in their ongoing Natural History Series. Petaluma

artist and entomologist Kevin Clarke will use this hour to shed light on the

hidden and fantastic world of insects.  Designed to elude their predators,

insects have effectively escaped most of our notice (unless we are swatting

them away!). Clarke’s artwork and talk celebrate

these shy creatures for their intrinsic beauty as well as their

essential ecosystem function.

The Petaluma

Wildlife Museum is on the Petaluma High School campus at 201 Fair Street. Check

the web site at www.petalumawildlifemuseum.org, call

707-778-4787, or email info@petalumawildlifemuseum.com for more information.

Admission to the Natural History

Series
is $5 per person, free for PWM Members and high school students.
