Cosmic Music Experience: Doomfield Concert at PAC

Doomfield will play 2 sets: 7:00 - 7:45 and 8:00 - 8:45 pm.

Doomfield is an electro/acoustic improvisational duo that seeks out unique acoustical performance space as well as environments with visual or visionary aspects involved. While we are visual and aural beings there are also dimensions of vibration and frequency that are far beyond human perception. Doomfield seeks to channel and convey these vibrations through their music to enhance the experience of the listeners visual and aural senses. 


Doomfield explores extreme textural, rhythmic, ambient and trance like states through an electro-acoustic language, feedback, loops, drums and percussion, samples and improvisation. 


Both players in Doomfield are steeped in jazz backgrounds as well as academic study in creative arts, music and education and have developed a lasting musical relationship spanning just over 5 years.
