Go, Mustangs! St. Vincent High School's Golf & Baseball Update

The St. Vincent de Paul High School varsity baseball team made the long trek north to take on the Timberwolves from Fort Bragg and beat them 4-3. 

The Mustangs had 6 hits in the game from Patrick Garcia (1×4), Sky Doble (1×3, double), Liam Galten (1×3, RBI), Dominic Pedersen (1×3), Joe Purtell (1×3), and Chris Montoya (1×1).

Liam Galten was the winning pitcher of record and the Timberwolves aided the Mustangs cause in committing 4 errors.  The team is currently 3-2 overall and will play Tuesday at College Prep.

The JV team recorded their first win of the season in beating Fort Bragg 11-0.

The Varsity Golf team got off to a fast start in Coastal Mountain Conference play beating Middletown (344), St. Helena (381), Clear Lake (442), Rincon Valley Christian (inc.), Sonoma Academy (inc.), and Tech HS (inc.).

The Mustangs team score was 308.  Low scores were posted for Sean Healy (72), Joey Wertz (74), Alex Graham (77), and Jack Hood (85).

St. Vincent is the defending CMC champion and should contend once again for the championship this year.
